Fort Murchison offers mid-range and budget accommodation in Murchison Falls National Park.
There are 12 pleasant en-suite rooms to choose from in the mid-range, including private bathrooms, hot showers, and a comfortable sofa.
However, if you require a more budget-friendly option, there are safari tents, which share a communal shower and bathroom block.
The tents are furnished with two single beds, mosquito nets, a bedside table and power outlet for charging your electronics.
Each tent is under the shade of a thatched roof and has a private veranda with views of the wonderfully green garden.

Evening sundowners are best enjoyed on the beautiful Swahili style rooftop terrace, with panoramic views of the Albert Nile and the Aswa Lolim Game Reserve.
Descend to the restaurant in time for a delicious four-course dinner with freshly baked bread rolls and veggies grown at the lodge.
The menu is set due to the difficulty of getting food to the lodge. However, the restaurant is happy to accommodate for any food and dietary requirements if made aware ahead of time.
Cool off after a morning exploring the national park with a refreshing swim in the large swimming pool, or grab a cold beer from the bar and laze on a sun lounger, either way, you will be treated to an afternoon of complete relaxation.

Located on the eastern side of the Victoria Nile, Fort Murchison is in a prime location for game drives; there is no need to cross the river as you are already on the best side of the river for game viewing.
Boat cruises on the Nile are also a great activity. The round trip is 3 hours, and you will travel upstream to view the Murchison Falls and observe many animals coming down to the river drink and bathe.
The Nile below Murchison Falls is great for fishing and is an exciting challenge for anglers to land a massive Nile Perch.
Enjoy a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls.
If you would prefer a shorter boat cruise, you can opt to leave the boat at Fajao Gorge, hike to the top of the falls and your driver will pick you up from there.
